Geisha A Go Go is a karaoke/sushi bar made in the guise of the iconic ones featured in Japan’s Shinjuku District. Although Old Town Scottsdale bears no resemblance in any way to the prefecture in Tokyo, inside this establishment, guests can relax and enjoy a night of Japanese culture. In addition to the fun atmosphere, the kitchen prepares fresh sushi throughout the night to entertain private parties of up to 20 guests at a time!
Karaoke
In Japanese, the word karaoke means “empty orchestra,” and since it may just be you all alone warbling a tune, it makes complete sense. If you bring a large number of friends and/or family with you to enjoy the fun, however, you will never feel quite alone, especially when everyone else knows the lyrics! In fact, this karaoke bar offers free rentals Monday through Thursday; the only catch is that guests must purchase a nominal amount of food or beverages. Therefore, bring the crew from work during happy hour, team build, entertain business clients, and all the songs and rentals pay for themselves! During the prime-time schedule, the karaoke bar has rates that differ according to room rented. For example, the regular room seats six guests ($50 per hour) and the large room seats up to 20 guests ($100 per hour).
Japanese Comfort Food
On the Geisha A Go Go in Scottsdale menu, guests will find a wide range of appetizers such as Chicken Gyoza, Vegetable Tempura and Teriyaki Ribs, just to name a few. As far as sushi are concerned, the specialty rolls feature an exemplary sampling of flavors. The Las Vegas combines salmon, cream cheese, crab and avocado, it is then deep fried and topped with a sweet eel sauce. The Red Samurai brings spicy shrimp, avocado, cucumber and crushed peanuts; it is then drizzled with a sweet chili and peanut sauce. If sushi does not satisfy you, the menu still has a nice array of rice bowls, salads, noodles and lighter fare such as seared albacore, salmon and yellowtail as well as a phenomenal Spicy Tuna Poke.
